Bought the mBot neo for my granddaughters birthday. Had a great time building it and running the on board demo programs. She is learning this program in school and immediately compiled a program. We got the mBot to connect
via Bluetooth but can’t upload her program. Running aniPad gen 9 and don’t have a cable to connect to the mBot USB to this gen iPad. Do I need a cable? We connect via USB, why won’t it upload and enable us to run? Cannot run in Live mode either
thanks so much in advance

My mBot Neo came with a USB C charging cable. If yours didn’t, I would would contact support or purchase one.

You can also connect the mBot Via Bluetooth to most Android or iOS based devices. I haven’t had any trouble.
Also please note the sysytem reuirements for mBlock on iOS:

iphone Requires iOS 10.0 or later.
ipad Requires iPadOS 10.0 or later.
ipod Touch Requires iOS 10.0 or later.

You may need to enable or disable Bluetooth for an app on iOS:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap on Privacy followed by Bluetooth.
Find the app that requested for Bluetooth access.
Turn the toggle for it to the ON position to enable Bluetooth for the app.
Turn the toggle for it to the OFF position to disable Bluetooth for the app.

I hope this helps.
Thanks,
