Do multiple Bluetooth dongles and mBot 2 (Neo) robot have interference?

#1

Probably it is a silly question.

I have to use contemporary 10 mbot2 on 10 pc linked ( to test the sw made by mblock5 ) without using the upload mode or the usb cable.
So I’ll connect each of the 10 mbot2 to “its” bluethoot dongle .

Is there any risk that the pairing between a couple of dongle and mbot2 is going to have problems due to the contemporary pairing of the others mbot2/bluethoot dongle devices?
Or a mbot2 only recognize and pairs with its specific bluethoot dongle (the one present in its box)?

Can someone point me out about details of the bluethoot pairing process?

Do you have any ideas about this, @CommandeR?

I’m not sure. I have two CyberPi and two Bluetooth dongles, so I will try and see when I get a chance next, unless CommandeR knows about this.

#3

Sorry guys, I haven’t moved on to CyberPi yet.

#4

thankyou.
I’ll wait for your experiments… because unfortunately I have only one Mbot2

#5

@Mrb Sorry, I forgot about this… I can’t find my other Bluetooth dongle sadly, I will either buy a new one or find some other way to test this, I guess…

#6

Thank you anyway.
I hope I’ll have a kind (negative = no interference) before I’ll start my course (I’ll be managing about 10 CyberPi)

Does anyone can help me about this?
(My course Is about tò start)
