Disappointment: Driving 2wd with continuous rotation servos

It is extremely disappointing to find out that makeblock Sketch cannot program continuous rotation servos at all. After numerous attempt with makeblock hd app and makeblock Sketch.

Supports are not available also… @tec_support

Hi Zak,

There is a program block for servo in the makeblock App HD.
Which servo do you use? Do you mean you want to program the servo to keep it rotating?
What is the example program you have tried?

Hi,

The servos are spring rc continuous rotation servos (SM-S4315R). Yes I need to keep it rotating as it is for a 2 wheel drive robot. the program block in the makeblock app HD only allows for 1 to run.

And also for the RJ25 adapter, am I able to connect external batteries to run the servos?

I think we do not sell the SM-S4315R, is this servo from Makeblock?

Besides, for RJ25 adapter, it can only be powered by the RJ25 port connection from mainboard.

Yes the servos are not from Makeblock. They are high torque servos therefore require external battery supply. The power from the mainboard will not be sufficient enough.
