Connecting MeWifi to home router

Hello,

New guy here. I’m having some problems connecting to my home router from my Orion and MeWifi module. The module is connected to port 5 of the Orion board. I can compile the example code, but where is the example code for connecting to a router?

After a search I found the code to connect an Uno board to a router using the Wifi.h library, but I get an error that Wifi.begin(SSID, password) is not a proper function call. Why does that function call not work?

Can someone please help? I really am just looking for the code that connects the Orion/MeWifi combination board and module wirelessly to my home router and also allows me to set the IP address etc etc.

Doesn’t the MeWifi support that ability? Why doesn’t wifi.begin work with a SSID?

I’m very confused. Did I buy the wrong hardware for what I want to do?

Normally, Me wifi module is suitable for advanced maker, they can develop it to achive their personal DIY projects but may need figure it out by themselves.

Please update the code segment for Appendix 1 & 2 in the Me Wifi module Design Report. There are a number of references in this document to bluetooth.

MeBluetooth bluetooth(PORT_4);

bluetooth.begin(115200);
Serial.println(“Bluetooth Start!”);

That may cause some confusion.
