Connecting EasyVR for voice commands to mBot

Hi Guys,
is there any possibility to connect the EasyVR Shield to mBot ?
It could be nice to have mBot responding to some voice commands.

Rob,
I did not try to connect the EasyVR Shield directly to an mBot due to the shield’s large physical size. I did successfully connect the EasyVR3 module J1 connector ERX/ETX serial lines to the mBot MIS0(ERX)/SCK(ETX) lines of the connector located next to the mBot USB port which allowed for good communication using the standard EasyVR3 Generate Code output. From the mBot schematic, the mBot MIS0 & SCK pins connect directly to the Arduino pin D12&D13 required for the EasyVR “SoftwareSerial” code examples. However, without the Arduino shield, you will need the EasyVR serial programming cable to program the EasyVR.
