Color sensor detection problems

#1

I have this setup: An MeColorSensor attached to a servo motor. The servo will scan from left to right until the ColorSensor detects the color green, then based on if the servo position the robot decides if it will have to turn left or right. I’ll attach a snippet of code.

The problem: The color sensor is giving me false positives. Maybe it thinks the color black is green ? You can see it in action on the attached video. The robot shines red if he finds green and the servo position is <90°, and blue if the position is >90°. The thing is, there’s no green on the test track, only black and white.

This is a line following competition robot, so I cant remove the black line from the equation.
