Codeyrocky won’t code using an iPad or iphone

We just got a codeyrocky and using an iPhone or iPad we can drive but not use the code function. Is there a fix for this. I currently don’t have access to a pc.

Same thing here, using an Android tablet.

I figured mine out. Works great now. The event line of code has to be first. I didn’t realize that. See if that works for you.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it seems I had a completely different problem.
Mine’s solved too, by installing mBlock software on a Mac, connecting the robot via cable, and updating the firmware to latest version (NOT to the version labeled working with the mobile app, go figure).
