Codey Rocky IR sensor test

Hello,

I’m trying to use the Codey Rocky IR sensor somehow, but with no luck. I know, there are already some posts regarding this feature here, but I still don’t understand what is possible with Codey Rockys IR sensor and what is not supported.

I’ve tried to use the “record / send home appliances remotre signal” blocks without success (nothing happens at all), as well as various functions / commands of the python IR API with the same result.

Is there any way to test if the IR sensor is working properly without having another (second) Codey Rocky device?

Hi asak.

A single Codey is sufficient to test the IR.

When the screen displays >A, press the A button on the Codey to register.
The program then displays what it received during the instruction: send IR message A.

Then test with a TV controller not too felt.
