I can use the ir remote to control mbot.it work fine. but when I try to read the keypress value of the ir remote using mblock program. nothing happen.

I got the program to work, but I had to upgrade the firmware and reset the default program. This is unfortunately a fairly normal process that I use when I note that a program that should work is not. Try those steps and see if it clears up the problem for you.

You can refer to Charles suggestion. One thing need to clarify is that you need Upgrade firmware for mBot to clear previous program on mCore before you start testing the online program which has a green flag head and reset default program is not needed in this case. Since if you reset the default program equal to upload a default program to mCore and you need Upgrade firmware again to clear the board.
