BT with PC or Laptop

Hi
Im able to connect the Me orion in the starter Kit with my android phone with the BT. However, when I try to do the same with my laptop, I discover makeblock adress but once I click nothing happens and I cannot take the robot control.
Connecting it by usb works fine but oviously I have the cable length limitation.
Any help?
