Broadcasting and Recieving via Network Connect

I was wondering if any one could help me. My mBlock says its connected via Network connect to my other computer, but nothing happens when I try to broadcast a message to initiate a group of blocks on the my second computer. I use a “when arrow key pressed” block then a “broadcast message one” block on one computer then a “when message one received” block on the other. Am I doing it wrong? Or am I not understanding how to correctly use the broadcast and Network functions?
