Bluetooth Issues

I’m having trouble with the bluetooth on my mBot. I removed it to try to program it with the USB cable using mBlock. Needless to say I’m having problems getting the mBot to work. After programming it back to default settings, I placed the Bluetooth back and now it the light is not going on and is running hot. When I try to use the mBot app the bluetooth module is not showing and not connecting. Do I need a new bluetooth module? Seems to have stopped working. Please advise.

I have had a similar problem with our mBots. Kiddos are not pleased. I have used a surface, as well as two other pcs and even tried a mac. I have been able to control with scratch only once, but not able to adjust the program, change the program, or turn off mBot and turn on and reconnect.
