Bluetooth detect multiple mBot in a classroom?

I am working with multiple mBot’s in a classroom. How do I identify which mBot is connected to a computer when I connect using Bluetooth?

Thanks,

There is a Bluetooth dongle (sold separately) that allows you to pair to the nearest mBot, eliminating the need of telling a mBot from another.

Otherwise, you need to write down the address that shows up in the connecting screen, and put a sticker on the Bluetooth dongle or the mBot. Please make sure you have tested one before you use it in classes or so, since not all computer can connect via Bluetooth smoothly (without the dongle) since it depends heavily on the computer you have.

For what it’s worth, I’ve recommended that instructors buy the WiFi version of the mBot for classroom use for exactly the same reason that @bigeyex mentioned the Bluetooth dongle. My experience using the Bluetooth version required that each student have their computer off and all of the mBots off. Then one student turns on their computer and an mBot to pair them. It’s a tedious, time-consuming process that is easily avoided with the WiFi version. :worried:
