Block diagrams of mBot Blue for teaching

I am a high school physics and engineering (robotics) teacher. For my course in robotics I’m using the mBot Blue robots. I want to teach the kids something about the system architecture and hardware for this robot. Does anyone know of block diagrams of the mBot system or its Arduino board? Or any other info that might help me?

Thanks for the board diagram! It will help a lot.

The mCore board has a light sensor and IR transmitter and receiver. Do you know if these can be accessed and programmed for the mBot, using either Scratch (mBlock) or Arduino IDE?

all the on-board items have blocks arleady developed for their mblock extensions to scratch. They also provide all the arduino libraries for them.
