bBot Ranger Synchronization Fails

I just assembled the mBot Ranger and updated the firmware using the PC connection to mBlock 5.0.0. However, the it won’t connect over Bluetooth to the Makeblock app on my iPhone or iPad. I get the error message “Synchronization fails, the firmware can’t identify … Please select your device model”. When I select mBot Ranger the next screen says “Firmware Recovery” , “Please use PC version of mBlock to restore firmware”, which I did already.

What should I do now?

Hi Waltk,
Is the blue light solid or flashing on the Bluetooth module?
Is the power battery fully charged?
Can take some screen shot of the error message for us?
What is the version number of your makeblock App?

Thanks for your quick response. It turns out that after posting my request, I did a reset on the robot and it now synchronizes.
