Hi all, I am making a timelapse slider and am having trouble controlling the 42BYG stepper motor from an arduino. Any suggestions of IC’s I could use to enable me to do this? I need to be able to drive the motor one step at a time.
Many thanks,

maybe you can use this drvier for your project

Thanks for the suggestion.
I managed to get it moving in the end with 2 ‘SN754410’ IC’s wired in parallel, like this but with 2 chips (it probably needs 4 though):
One thing I’m not too sure of though - does anyone know what voltage I should be supplying the motor with?
The product page says 2.55 volts which seems a bit low, am currently giving it 5.
Thanks!
The ratedvoltage of the stepper motor is 12V, sorry for the mistake on the product page, we fixed it now, thank you for your information.
