A Username block would be nice

#1

Could you please create a username block for mBlock 5 online and mBlock PC? It would be very helpful! I love your support team and staff! :heart_eyes:
Thanks a lot!

I currently know how to do the following things:

@discobot start new user

Starts one of the following interactive narratives: new user, advanced user.

@discobot roll 2d6

:game_die: 3, 6

@discobot quote

:left_speech_bubble: Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you — Princess Diana

@discobot fortune

:crystal_ball: You may rely on it

@discobot roll 2d6

:game_die: 4, 1

Still nothing?

Hmm… maybe I should make an extension to do this…

#10

As you can see here, I did make an extension to do this:

Any block type is possible, with any name given to it (just no coding added) - for info. I’ve never used it!

@CommandeR That’s awesome! I’m not sure that I can spot the username block in the extension. To be clear, this would be a block for sprites that would return the user’s signed in mBlock username, just like you can do in Scratch.

@everyone @CommandeR
I did happen to solve this issue myself — I created an extension for mBlock which contains the block:
