42BYG Temperature

Hi,

I’ve connected a 42BYG Stepper motor to the 2H Microstep driver and I notice that the stepper is getting extremely hot (I literally burn my fingers touching it). Is this normal?

Hi Svh 1985,

This is not normal. What is your application scenarios and environments?
Is there any thing block the motor to rotate which will cause hot?
