I first had this idea for a program which could be used to construct an idea in 3D on screen for Meccano years ago before Makeblock was even thought of. Of corse back in the 1980’s computers were not fast (1Mhz) and graphics were very course to say the least. Today creating a 3D program which featured an inventory of all the Makeblock parts in 3D which could be moved and placed any where in the program GUI would be nice. This would allow a preview of any idea before construction would begin. You would also be able to see and calculate how many and parts would be required before construction begins and let you know exactly the quantity of hardware needed to attach the parts used. You could then purchase the needed parts and hardware as needed. It would also allow you to assess the working and viability of any project before you even make it, mainly it would give you a visualisation of the project. I believe a simple program which would allow you to build any Idea where you could modify change and or rearrange what may be just the slightest idea forming in your mind. Would enable anyone to build that idea just to see if it would at least work would be a great advantage.
