I too had the short wire problem, I ran to Radio Shack and picked up their Makeblock “Bracket Robot Pack” to make extentions to the structure and relocate the servo and servo control boards. I lowered the main control board to give clearance for the extention. I have also used brackets from the kit to make an extention to make contact with the limit switch after installing the Laser upgrade.
