After I saw the new Reprap Morgan http://blog.reprap.org/2013/07/reprap-morgan-by-quentin-harley-wins.html I was really curious to see if I could achieve something similar using Makeblock.
This is my second attempt, using the stepper-motors. The first attempt used Makeblock servos, but they were far from accurate enough.
Moving to cartesian coordinates already works (XY to angle-calculations), and currently I am working on the mathematics to make it perform straight-line movements with correct S-curve speedramping.
I really love playing with the Makeblock set - feels like “real industrial quality” somehow
