I’ d like to clarify what does that topic mean in details?
I am trying to understand how and if the I can recharge the power ?
(does charger on board work like for mobile phones)? does the mbot get the power from the pc -through the usb cable?- for example when I run the code multiple times for trial purposes?
Is there any difference between bluethoot and 2.4G regarding this topic?

The 3.7V lithium battery is connected to the white terminal on mCore directly, and then you could use the USB cable to connect the mCore to PC, which allows the lithium battery charging automatically.
Regarding your last question of “Is there any difference between bluethoot and 2.4G regarding this topic”, there is no difference to recharge the 3.7V lithium battery on mCore.

Hi slepetit,
The 7.4v lipo battery is too much for the mCore board.
According to the spec for mCore in this link, you can see the power spec for mCore is 3.7v~6V. You can use the battery in this voltage range, but normally, we use the 3.7v rechargeable lipo battery for the mBot.

"The Instruction Book says that the power supply can be from 3.7V to 6V. As I like very much LiPo batteries and the mCore board have a JST connector, I’ve started with this option. But I was not satisfied with the performance with 3.7V when I play with my custom map with overpass (see below on “having fun”), in line follower mode. The robot barely climbed the overpass. So I decided to test it with other battery options and measure the results with a multimeter, and that’s what I got: with full charged LiPo battery (3.7V) got about 3.66V delivered for the motors; with 4XAA NiHM rechargeable batteries full charged (so 4.8V), got about 4.48V delivered for the motors; with 4XAA 1.5V common batteries (so 6V), got about 4.77V delivered for the motors."
