I got a website... finally

#1

Hey guys! Up until now I’ve mostly used limited free domains or hosting services like GitHub Pages or Vercel.
Recently, I finally decided to get a domain name and have my own site!
Here it is:

https://bestcodes.dev

I can create subdomains on my website (e.g., sub.bestcodes.dev), and I was thinking I could make something like mblock.bestcodes.dev to put mBlock related resources on. Any ideas?

Hi @Best_codes

… thinking about domains etc. …

#3

@CommandeR You mean I should buy a custom domain for an mBlock thing…? I don’t exactly understand what you’re saying, but I could.
Still don’t know what to put on it (except and mBlock Wiki perhaps).

#4

@Best_codes - I was referring to your thoughts about creating subdomains etc. for mBlock resources.

#5

Yeah, but what mBlock related resources should I put there?

#6

Hi @Best_codes

If you would like them as downloadable mBlock resources, I would be happy to bequeath to you copies of the .pdf files for my open-source books: ‘mBot & Me Vol. I - a beginners guide’, ‘mBot and Me IV - the Ultimate Challenge’ and ‘mBot & Me V - the Coding Adventures’. As you are aware, I often paste pages from these into my own Forum posts in response to individual queries. They could be available to all Makeblock enthusiasts by downloading them from your website

Sadly, nothing has been done with these files recently despite Makeblock Europe assuring me that were somewhere in the pipeline for adding to their updated Education pages. Over to you.

@CommandeR I’d be glad to host them! You can direct message me or email me (best-codes@proton.me) with the files. Should they be free for download, require a sign-up, etc.?

Hi @CommandeR. Sorry for the delay on this. I’ve been busy; I set up the domain but I still have to create the site. https://mblock.bestcodes.dev/ will just error for now, but work will begin soon!
