Forum.makeblock.com website image missing!

Hi, the main top image on https://forum.makeblock.com/ is missing:

It is pointing to image https://www.makeblock.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Makeblock_Logo.png which does not exist:

It was corrupted a long time ago, I dont think it will ever return. You can contact support about it.

It is like this since a long time and no one ever cares 🥶
what a bad sign for this forum !! I am very sad for this forum.
Who wants to spend time on a website that is not even caring on this 1st and most important image!
it is present (sorry absent) on every webpages! Is there no tech admin taking care of it?

#4

@kris Unfortunately not. I was told there was a new forum coming out soon, but there wasn’t a date or status.

#5

Why would this need a new forum?

If no one from Makeblock can replace the main image on every webpage of this website (which can be done by any admin and takes literally just 3 minutes),
I wonder who is going to work on a new forum.
Is Makeblock bankrupt?

The logo has been like that for a while.

The forum is no longer maintained by makeblock. I’m guessing that makeblock either just doesn’t feel like maintaining it or doesn’t have the resources to.

Possibly. Makeblock plans to rebrand and shift product and marketing focus quite a bit, mostly to xTool. I don’t think that makeblock is bankrupt, but the mBot part of it may have become unprofitable.

It’s possible it won’t ever happen, or that it will happen as the xTool forum instead of the makeblock forum. We’ll see.

@kris Makeblock is not bankrupt. They don’t maintain the forum.

#8

@Best_codes Why would Makeblock do that?

A community forum is a big selling point for a product (so I am glad this forum exist, but it is dying), not maintaining a website so outrageously (we are here talking about the TOP image logo of the website that is present on EVERY webpage!), is a big sign to Makeblock future buyers: we are going bankrupt, if we are not already, we are making no effort to improve the situation (we are talking here about editing a simple image URL! there is nothing more straightforward to do), you should buy competitor products instead of Makeblock, signed by Makeblock themselves.

Yeah, I get it. Makeblock has been shifting focus to “xtool” because of… I dont know.
