In most laser machines, the tubing is attached to the nozzle without additional attachment or the tubing is clamped, which is caused by the use of a weak compressor as standard and is not designed for pressure greater than two atmospheres.
Wattsan machines use polyurethane rather than silicone tubing. The attachment to the nozzle is in the form of a screw-in thread, which is called an air connector.
Polyurethane tubing can handle pressures up to 6 atmospheres and has a burst strength of 8 atmospheres.
