XY Plotter / Laser Quality > More Examples?

Hey

i am currently thinking about buying a xy plotter 2 with the 500 mw Laser module. I would like to do engravings on wood. What i am looking for are examples of good engravings / results. Most of the prints / laser engravings i have seen so far do not look that good. There is lot of overshoot (on hatched areas), wobbly lines and so on. This may be the result of a machine not being square or the pen being to wobbly. I just wanted to make sure that i can get better results from the machine.

Hi!
You need to adjust the focus of the laser with the wood. The laser light falls on the smallest board.
