Ultimate Robot Kit-Blue - RadioShack

#1

Hello there,
I am having problem with this robot and i was hoping someone can help me. I put everything together, and i cant get to run driving motors forward backward left right. I am connected to blue tooth and i am able to control the arm to go up and down and to open and close however the movement motors are not working. I connects it to wall adapter whcih provide good power to replace 6 batteries and that didnt help ether. Initially i was unable to move anything but i found firmware for this board and uploaded and i got arm to work correctly.
So, how do i fix the issue with motors?

Ok, i just uploaded another firmware using Mbock softeare. I got the one motion motor to work but i cant get another one. And the one which is working is so weak it cant even move hardly the entire thing. I actually have 12V suply and still is not enoguh to move it.
Any idea?

Ok, i got now everything working but i still have issue with not enough power supplied to the motors. If i lift robot in the air and press forward it will spin wheels and same thing if i do backwards. However if i just put it on the ground and try to run it it will hardly move. Like im not having enough power. Is this issue with motor or board or code?

I tried to assemble everything in place to make the robotic arm, not working at all and very disappointing
i even tried to power up with 12V, tried to check the sound sensor on port 3 no luck, then tried to use the ultrasound sensor for distance that didnt work too, the Bluetooth light, underneath power light and the board to the gears light glow up. Tried to connect through the app, pairs up but no actions . Same thing with scratch nothing worked. I would love to make this work, but not sure what is going on wrong …any tips is most welcomed

Hello

It seems that the motor has some problem, Can I ask when did you buy this Ultimate kit? and your motor type.

Thanks

Hello

Give you some suggestions

  1. upgrade firmware of Orion board
  2. upgrade the makeblock app
  3. when you connect to the 12V DC power source, please check whether the leds are light next to the motors
  4. try to use mBlock software to run it

Thanks!

Didnt help at all, i even got an inventor kit and tried with that board, nothing works…am i missing something

Tried to remove the board again and with just motor, just the sensor tried, didnt work at all

  1. In the ultimate kit, there was a plastic in which There were two wires separately, one end had split into two small holes and the other end a plug sort of, i didnt find any instructions in the manual do anything about that…do i need to do anything about that ?

  2. when i use the app Bluetooth connects and when i try a sample example ultra sensor, it didnt work
my sensor is connected to the COM3 on the board and i choose COM3 and checked
guess 3 is the port of the board

Did you get any help from support? I have similar issues and there is an open recall on the 25mm motors from March. However I can’t get support to replace my motors. I have 3 kits all with the same behavior
