Slack for the two arms

#1

Hi,
This afternoon, I tried to use the laser on the Mscara setup. But as I couldn’t make the adjustment with the knob - the dot remained big and blurred - I noticed the step motor weighs on the first arm and the second bears the laser. Then the laser is too close from the paper and not perfectly parallel to the table.

My problem comes from a slack between the white wheel and the flange bearing. So, even if the screws are tightened for my two arms, both of them have small slacks.

I don’t know what to do? Does anyone has a solution?

Thank you!

I used the little roller ball for the mCar at the end of the arm to help support the weight. the short beam screwed in to the arm at 90 degrees and the little plastic roller ball and the adjustment screw setup shown in the mCar seems to work for me.
