Rubber tracks too tight will not turn wheels

using ultimate 2.0 robot kit , robot arm tank
when the rubber tracks are placed on the plastic wheels, the motor can not spin the rubber tracks. When the rubber tracks are off the plastic wheels, the wheels will turn. any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I had a similar problem with the mBot Ranger and had to move the mount point for the tension wheels to loosen things up a bit. I also wound up going to rechargeable LiPo batteries because Duracell let me down. :wink:
