Python support for MegaPI

Hi. I read that the megapi can be programmed using python (for motor movement etc), however, only a raspberry py method is listed. Is it possible to program it using windows? Or, is the project supported anymore? The git repo seems a bit outdated. Thanks!

I use the raspberry pi and it only cost me $35.
