mScara assembly questions

I just assembled the mScara and now I am wiring up the mScara. I have two questions I hope someone can help me out with.

(1) Of the two, which one is stepper motor A and stepper motor B?
(2) The cable that connects port 7 to the pen lift PCB is short. When the arm is fully stretched 180 degrees (like aligned to the X axis), the cable can’t reach the port - it’s just short. The cable is longer than the ones used for stepper motors, but it is indeed short. What is the solution for this problem?

Thanks for asking. Actually 2 of motors are same. You can pick up anyone of them.

Are you suggesting that any of the stepper motor can be connected to any one of the ports (1 or 2)? In that case the mScala is expected to work properly?
