Motors running at 2 000 RPM

I recently bought the robot mbot (V 1.1 / 4 batteries 1,5V).

The speed of the robot is a little weak. On the notice, it is specified the angular velocity of the motors : 200 RPM (rotation per minute)…

  1. When the two motors (M1 and M2) are mounted together in the robot, what is the angular velocity of each motor : 200 RPM or 200/2 = 100 RPM ?

  2. Do you have an idea to buy new motors running at 1 000 RPM ou 2 000 RPM ?
