mBot faceplate — how to assemble

#1

This may be a really silly question, but I can’t figure it out. There’s a white faceplate covered in brown paper, some little plastic pegs, and the LED matrix. The pegs seem like they’re there to connect the matrix to the faceplate, but for the life of me i can’t figure out how.

hmm new users can’t upload pictures…
here is my dropbox link how I mount it.
behind the white plate is the LED Matrix

Your photo is really helpful.
How did you fix the distance sensor with the white plate?
How did you put the LED plate together with the white plate? And I found the white plastic tenons difficult to use.

Thanks

I’m in the same boat here. That photo posted above is helpful, but I’m still missing something here.

The holes in both the main chassis and the white plate aren’t threaded, so i’m guessing they need a bolt to mount with? If that’s right, I didn’t receive any bolts for this. Happy to go and get some, but I just want to make sure I wasn’t missing something obvious first.

I only add 2 nuts from my own inventory…

Exactly, which plastic tenons is terrible! I have to change to double tape, it might be easier
