Pulling my hair out and hoping someone can help. “Install Arduino Driver” works for the mBot under MacOS 10.12.X but not under MacOS 10.13.5.
Connecting to the Serial Port under MacOS 10.13.5 causes the system to kernal panic.
Can any one help?
Where did you get the Arduino driver? I’ve been using this one for quite some time with no issues. You may have to move the usbserial.kxt driver (see this post).
Yet to test but this appears to be the same as whats deployed through the Install Arduino Driver menu option from the mBot software itself.
Had no issues apart from running on High Sierra the latest and current MacOS.
All said, your second suggestion does indeed look promising! I’ll try this and feedback.
