Does the Makeblock electronic add on kit work with mbot

I want to purchase the electronic add on kit but wanted to be sure it works with the mbot. On Amazon it says for starter robot

Hi, the electronic add on kit is compatible with mBot. However, the mCore (mBot’s board) only has four ports, so it could only attach four modules at most.
