Connecting my mbot to mblock 5 question

Hello

I am trying to connect my mbot to mblock 5 (latest version) and i get this message

I am not sure if i should update the firmware as i don't want to brick my mbot. The message appears every time i connect my mbot to my computer

Hi JoshK,

I have the same result with my mBot.
I had the same result with my Neuron kit before the update which added support for the Neuron blocks.

Conclusion: I believe but I’m not sure that only devices included in mBlock 5 are compatible. There is Codey, Micro.bit and Neuron. I hope that mBlot will be added quickly because I must have version 4.0.4 and version 5.0 on the same computer. It works but I would like to keep a version.

Note: Me too I did not dare to do Update Firmware
