Connect a Me Auriga to a MegaPi - Possible? How?

#1

Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to connect the Me Auriga board via the Communications Port (Port 5 - Grey) to the MegaPi? To build one robot and use two boards to operate more motors and or sensors.

Anyone with ideas, or advice would be great if you can help.

Cheers

I have done this two different ways.
The first is with the HAT on the PI and RJ25 cable to port 5 (grey) on the Makeblock

The second is with a usb cable between the two boards:

In both cases I could use python on the PI with the following package

I am now working on a version with a camera on the PI so that I can direct the combi-robot (Allie).

Hi @dr-roboto,

You talking here about connecting Raspberry Pi to Megapi or Me Auriga. Also of interest to us… From my other post.

However in this post I was interested to know if one can connect the M as keblock Me Auriga to the Makeblock MegaPi to have two boards in one robot.

The Raspberry Pi with Camera is also something we would like to do! Would love to stay in contact to see how you do it…

Thanks, Andrew
