Can't manage to upload sketch to robot

I have Makeblock Ultimate Robot Kit and I want to write to it my own sketch.
However I can’t manage to upload sketches to it. I get this error:
“avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding”

When I connect the USB cable to my computer it shown as USB2.0-Serial with yellow band on it.

what should I do?

Do you have the bluetooth module plugged into the board as well? I know if you have usb and bluetooth plugged in that can cause problems

I do have bluetooth module plugged in. I need the Bluetooth so unplug it won’t help me to much

However I did noticed that I have this problem when i work with latest Arduino IDE 1.6.4 , but when I installed version 1.0.6 it works fine and there is no yellow band and I can upload successfully.

Any idea if and why new IDE doesn’t support makeblock ultimate robot ?

You can unplug BT before you upload your sketch and reconnect it again when it is loaded. This is what I am doing.

I am still using 1.0.6 but still had problems in uploading. then I disconnect the BT module before uploading and it works.
