Brain module

Is there any plan to add a persistent logical hardware block on which we can transfer Neuron programs through app or PC to have them available even after poweroff (without reprogramming manually from app or PC)?

Hello szm.tiberiu,

I have the same need. In my opinion, the WIFI block should be usable.
However, the code is not saved and the WIFI link is not permanent.
I hope he will adjust the block.

Hi szm.tiberiu & Crackel,

We have double tested the me wifi module.
Actually, it has the remember function even after a restart. But normally, you need to wait for a while (2~5 minutes) to let it run the uploaded program after a restart.

I will test this this week.

Thank you

hi,

I reset the WIFI block and it does not work.
I made a simple little program with a button that triggers a music.

  1. It works when I use the tablet and the WIFI block;
  2. It does not work once UPLOADER in the WIFI block;

I filmed the problem … can you help me?
Since this is 168 MB where can i drop it

Hi, you could send the video via pCloudtransfer, and here is the link to access the web page.
You could put tec-support@makeblock.com as the recipient’s e-mail address.

Hi Crackel
Actually, it is a bug for the buzzer program block. Multiple notes can not be played offline, can play only a single note.
The wifi module should be okay, you can test by uploading the other program like the one on picture below:

This has been recorded by our engineer, thanks for your feedback.

Hi,

Actually, it works after 1-2 minutes, the program is functional again without having to do a UPLOAD again.

So the problem is with the block buzzer.

We will wait for the fix
