Restored Starter tank (mblock 3.4.1.1) to factory and now it drives automatically

IR no longer works, I have already followed the instructions for restoring upgrading the firmware and factory restore. Now the robot goes forwards without as soon as it’s switched on.

Hi greatestgunner,
Please also do reset default program again with PC softwaremBlock 3.
And refer to the FAQs for Starter to check so reset default program (1001) and test if the IR controller is still working (1006).
If the issue goes the same, please take a video to show the issue how it goes forward as soon as powered on.
By the way, check the battery is fully charged or try some use batteries.

Hi @tech_support using the restore default program and Upgrade firmware did not restore the device to factory.

I have configured the IR remote by manually configuring the IR codes to the IR remote as per: Trouble programming IR buttons in 3.2

The confusion is that the board is an Orion board, however everything out of the box would suggest it is mBot (mCore)

That is strange. To make sure we have the same information, would you please take a video to show the issue?
Did you purchase the device from an official distributor? Is it a brand new? Would like to get some photos of the product.
