mBot does not repond to IR remote

Hello there.

I have come across some weird problem that I just can not seem to fix. Basically when I put together mBot and turned him on, through On-Board button my first two mods were working but when I switched to third one and tryed to use remote it does not respond. Battery for remote is ok, so as remote itself (when i look through camera on phone I see light on IR) and also what I did was update firmware but then none of 3 modes were working. Bdw light on bluetooth of robot is constantly blinking.

Hi najkulime,

Do you mean both the wall avoidance mode and line follower mode worked properly previously, but the manual mode didn’t work, right?

To play the mBot in three default modes with IR Remote controller,need reset default program for mBot instead of upgrading firmware.
Please refer to FAQ2 in this post to reset default program with latest version mBlock software (3.4.10) first have a check.
