mBlock portable

Hi,
evereything has been added to permit portable use of mBlock, except it writes in roaming folder (for Windows version) of user.
Because in France, IT protect a lot kids computers, we have a lot of problems with uploading, updating software, etc. Could it be possible to make it really portable ?

Hi Sebseb,

There is a mBlock App which can program the mBot robot but it can’t upload firmware.
For portable mBlock software which has the same feature as PC side mBlock software, currently, there is no such plan.
There may be a plan in the future, thanks for your idea and we will add it into customer advice list for future assessment.

Thanks for answering.
But the idea is not creating a new software, but changing parameters of the existing one to make it really portable.
Because after installing mBlock, you can copy mBlock folder to another computer and it works, but it always create a folder in C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\com.makeblock.Scratch3.4.5
I think it’s not necessary or maybe add an option to not copy file outside mBlock folder.

Thanks for your advice, I will provide feedback to our team.
Actually, we have plan to develop the mBlock software 4.0 version which can be opened by the web browser directly. It will be more convenient .
