How to upgrade Ranger to Ultimate kit?

If I buy Ranger at first, can I upgrade it to Ultimate kit by buying more modules ?

Technically you can but you’ll also have to get a new board if you want to have the same one Ultimate has as Ranger uses a different one.

My understanding is that the kits are based on the following:

  • mCore

    • mBot

  • Auriga

    • mBot Starter Kit
    • Auriga mBot Ranger

  • Orion

    • Ultimate Robotics Kit 1.0

  • MegaPi

    • Ultimate Robotics Kit 2.0
