I would like to see an external encoder solution to use instead for you encoder motor or use stepper motors. Could be an me module with an rotary encoder with an 4mm D shaped axis for easy use with an gear or Timing Pulley.
I’m working on an sheep prototype, will post more information when it’s done.
Is this anything Makeblock has in mind since before?
I have now gotten the encoder to work very good, the picture below shows the first version where I got 80 pulses per revolution. (The rotary encoder only have 20 pulses per revolution but some transmission I get 80.
The second version gave me 420 pulses per revolution which is much better and the performance is much better.
